Boots & Boys.

Okay so no boys, but I do have a pretty good deal here for winter boots. I was browsing online trying to find me a good pair of tall black boots for this winter and I was pretty much set on the fact that I wanted some bearpaw boots. I really wanted some Emma Tall bearpaw boots but the cheapest I could find them was around $49.99. Even though that is still an amazing deal for bearpaw boots I was really wanting to pay less. I came across a website that I had never really heard of much before but they had millions of brand name products for less than half the price. Of course I had to google to make sure it was a legitimate site and everything seemed to look perfect. The website is 6pm.com . I browsed a lot of different boots that they had on their site and I must say I was impressed. The products they have even come with a video so you can see someone wearing them in action. Once I saw the bearpaws on an actual person I started to like them less and less. They seemed to fit very loose around the calf and I hate when I get boots like that. I came across a brand by EMU Australia called Ukala. EMU is a pretty good brand and I have always loved their boots. When I saw the price of the Sydney Highs's I just knew I had to get them $31.60 and FREE SHIPPING whats better than that? The rinky dink boots at old navy, target and payless are about that price if not more. They had a lot of really cute colors like hot pink, lavender, brown, chestnut etc. I thought long and hard about getting the pink ones but I really needed a pair of black boots so I decided against it. The shipping was incredibly quick I believe I got my boots in just three days which is not bad for the shipping being free. If your not looking for boots I still suggest you go check out this website the prices are ridiculously cheap. If you find any good deals let me know, I would love to blog about it. I hope everyone has a happy new year!! Xoxo, Catelin

Dupe Alert!!

So I am sure you have seen OPI Rainbow Connection polish. It is a rainbow confetti look and it is one of my favorite looks right now. Well as many as you know OPI can get a little bit expensive especially if you are addicted to new and fun polish like I am. I was browsing my local CVS on Christmas and I saw a beautiful polish that caught my eye.. and it just so happened to be Confetti’s Tasmanian Devil. Something felt a little familiar looking at this polish and I was sure it couldn't be cheap. I directed my eyes toward the price and was absolutely shocked at the $1.99 price tag. I couldn't help but buy this polish. I also bought a few other colors as well to try them out. I put it on immediately when I got home and was very impressed that the quality was pretty good for being such a cheap polish. It's deff not an opi polish but physically it is an almost dupe. I found that I only had to apply two coats and one clear top coat. It went on very easy and the glitter sat down pretty easy as well.  Also another dupe I found of these polishes is Milani Jewel effects: Gems 530. I have not yet tested the milani one on my own but I have seen swatches of it and I think it compares pretty well.

& here is the Confetti brand on my fingers over a white base excuse the quality of my nails in this picture I did these pretty quick. This is only using one coat over Confetti: White wedding. Cute hu? So if you don't want to spend $7-9 on opi or milani I say go out and get this polish from your nearest CVS and let me know what you think. Xoxo, Catelin

Coastal Scents Ultra Shimmer 88 Pallet

So I just received my coastal scents 88 ultra shimmer pallet and I must say that I am loving it. I have many pallets but none this diverse in color. I usually like more pigment so I have found myself wetting my brush on some colors but I do this with the majority of my shadows and have for years. I don't have any actual pictures of me using the pallet at the moment because I was just too excited about it to get around to it. A lot of you probably are wondering.. is it the same thing as BH cosmetics pallet and my answer is YES. It is the exact same product and colors. BH is a little bit cheaper and has a nicer shipping price but coastal scents was offering a 50% pallet promotion when I purchased this so I couldn't pass it up. I will be posting soon some swatches and pictures of me using this product as well as a more detailed review but right now I just wanted to get in a quick post while it was fresh on my brain.
Xoxo, Catelin.

Meet Catelin

I am not really sure yet where I want to go with this blog but let me start off by introducing myself. I am Catelin. I am 22 and soon to be expecting my first baby boy. I am madly in love with the most amazing man I have ever set eyes on and I tend to brag about him a lot if I get a little too lovey dovey for you just tell me to shut up, I don't mind (: I am interested in a lot of things but am extremely lazy in turning those interests into actual plans and I am hoping to change this.. tomorrow lol. I am thinking my blog will be filled with things that I "plan to do" or things I find interesting that I would like to share and maybe even a few pregnancy rants that I have along the way.. I guess we will see where it goes till then stay tuned (:
